Looking at this plot, it seems impossible to conceive a rationnal chain of events that could have lead to the invention of pancakes. Everybody in his right mind would have stopped at the batter stage. The inventor of pancakes did a major "outside the box" thinking.
Today, Mr. Pancake is chairman at the optimization and operations research department of my university. It's a well earned honour sir, way to go!
